About
A dead hand is a Cold War era radio signal that, if stopped, would be taken as a sign of a nuclear attack. If a dead hand went quiet, nuclear warheads would automatically launch. Every so often, mysterious messages would be read on the signals.
Dead Hand Lit is looking for microfiction and poetry. Things can get weird, uncanny, creepy, and bizarre. Things can stay happy, hopeful, and lovely. It all depends on the message you send.Â
Like all dead hands, the origin of this literary magazine is unknown.
